New Citroën C3

The floating roof is one of the New C3’s major styling strengths. Available in three colours, it sits on black A pillars and taut roof arches that boost the vitality of the body styling. The well-measured proportions of the metal and glass underscore the protective and well-balanced aspect of the New C3 – a self-possessed and serene attitude with flowing, non-aggressive surfaces.

A distinctive graphic signature launched on the C4 Cactus, the Airbumps® protect the car’s body while boosting its style. The scratch-free surfaces encapsulate air and serve as bumpers. The material used, polyurethane thermoplastic, stands up to everyday sources of harm including the sun, water, ageing and scrapes.

The Airbumps® are composed of six capsules filled with air and located on the lower part of the door, which is particularly vulnerable in the city. Style-wise, they are enhanced by a surround in white or red depending on the roof colour.

The two-tiered front light signature strengthens the gaze of the New C3 and underlines the sense of boot height. The chevrons and their chrome-finished double bars extend all the way out to the LED daytime running lights, while the headlamps feature a rounded design. Lower down, the bumper enhances the impression of front-end height to give the car an adventuresome air. Coloured inserts surround the fog lamps and add an extra touch of freshness.

The storage spaces inside the New C3 were designed to be as practical as possible. The cleverly-designed central compartment frees up space in the front, further enhanced by the largest glove box in the segment, at 6.25 l. The front doors are also home to capacious storage compartments.

The light colour chosen for these compartments contrasts with the objects placed in them to make all your belongings easier to find. As for luggage, there are no compromises, as the New C3 is home to a boot with a near 300 l capacity.

This technology helps you pull away when parked on a hill. It prevents any undesired movements of the vehicle on an incline when you take your foot off the brake. Hill-start assist works on gradients of over 3% by stabilising the vehicle for around two seconds. 

This system indicates the presence of a vehicle in the driver’s blind spots via a pictogram in the door mirrors. Operating on the same principle as reversing radars, the function is a major safety asset, notably on urban motorways.

This system fights against drowsiness or simple moments of inattention at the wheel at speeds of over 60 km/h. If the car crosses a white line without the indicator on, the system’s control unit issues a warning, conveyed to drivers through beeps and a visual alert.

When you shift into reverse, the reversing camera displays the rear view of the car on the main screen.   

This image is enhanced by colour reference points indicating proximity with any obstacles. The system provides a true extended vision making everyday manoeuvres easier!
