New Citroën C5 Aircross SUV

At 4.50m long, it stands out for its powerful and dynamic personality, without being aggressive. It brings a breath of fresh air to the SUV segment with its wide and powerful front-end design, high and sculpted bonnet, flowing lines punctuated with strong graphic features such as the Airbump®, large 720mm diameter wheels, 230mm ground clearance, rocker panel and wheel arch protectors, and stylish, two-tone roof bars.

The 360° glazed area around the car shows off a flowing roof design and the “C” chrome-finished signature reflecting its interior space. The back end, wide and tall, suggests a class-leading boot space (from 580 to 720 litres). The rear headlamps are fitted with four LED oblong modules on each side of the vehicle.

The cabin of New C5 Aircross SUV is spacious and stately. It incorporates generous and flowing shapes, while remaining attentive to functional aspects. It features a robust dashboard with a horizontal layout, a heat-sealed banner stretching across its width.

On the driver side, the combine offers a configurable digital instrument cluster with a 12.3′-inch screen, which displays the selected driving information in the driver’s field of vision.

The wide and tall central console, the inviting seats set high to give you a feeling of control over the road, and the choice of colours and materials all add to the impression of protection and refinement given by the interior.

New C5 Aircross SUV is the newest addition to the Citroën range. Directly inspired by the Citroën Aircross concept revealed in 2015, the new C5 AIrcross continues Citroën’s SUV offensive after the successful launch of C3 Aircross SUV in 2017. New SUV Citroën C5 Aircross was designed to provide advanced soundproofing with reduced road noise and wind noise thanks to double-laminated front windows with an insulated layer, bringing its occupants exceptional, cocoon-like soundproofing. Particular attention was paid to the soundproofing of the engine compartment.

For the optimal comfort of passengers, New Citroën C5 Aircross also offers an air purification system in the cabin, AQS for “Air Quality System”, which detects exterior air pollution and filters it by automatically adjusting the mode of circulation in the cabin.

It recognises speed limit signs and displays this information on the instrument panel. This speed can be selected as an instruction for the speed limiter/cruise control in one simple movement. In addition to speed limit signs, the system recognises certain road signs and transmits the information to the driver via the instrument panel (Stop signs / One-way signs / End of speed limit restriction).

It makes driving at night safer and more relaxing thanks to the automatic management of high- to low-beam headlights (and vice versa).

New C5 Aircross SUV provides passengers with intuitive systems at the cutting edge of technology to offer them continuity between their digital universe and their car: the 8” tablet with a capacitive touchscreen, which allows users to adjust their car’s settings, access the multimedia system, telephone, air conditioning, and  Mirror Screen function.

It is also equipped with wireless smartphone charging, electro chromatic rearview mirror and tyre pressure monitoring.
